Vasilis Arsenis, also known as Billy on Atlas — portrait of a photographer inspired by quiet places and distant horizons.
MEET THE PERSON BEHIND THE LENS

Behind every image, there’s a way of seeing. This is mine.

I’m Vasilis Arsenis, or Billy, if you prefer things a little simpler. I photograph quiet stories, soft light, and the people and places that leave something behind.

My work is rooted in curiosity, trust, and a deep respect for what’s real. Sometimes it’s about telling the story of a gathering, other times of a mountain trail, a morning shadow, or just a face in silence.

More About Me

Photography, to me, is a form of attention. A way of noticing what often goes unseen: a gesture, a breeze, a glance, and turning it into something that speaks without needing to explain.

Small boat floating on calm coastal water between hills in seaside landscape.

Stories shaped by light, memory, and movement.

Whether I'm photographing a quiet mountain village, a sun-soaked room, or two hands meeting in the crowd — I seek what feels true. Every story I document is personal, rooted in presence, and told with care.

“ I'm Brazilian and I went to Greece to do the photography workshop with Billy Arsenis and it was one of the best experiences of my life. In addition to being an excellent professional photographer, he is an excellent teacher. "

For moments that feel like yours

If you’re drawn to honest storytelling, let’s work together.

If you’re drawn to honest storytelling, let’s create something real.
I’m interested in stories shaped by people, place and atmosphere. Projects that value honesty over perfection and presence over performance.
I’m not here to orchestrate moments. I’m here to witness them.
I’ll be there with a camera in hand, ready for the in-between. The unscripted. The good stuff.
