I’m Vasilis Arsenis — but you can call me Billy.
I was never drawn to the spotlight. Instead, I’ve always looked for the quiet details. A certain tilt of the head. The way the sun lingers on a windowsill. The texture of everyday life that so often goes unnoticed.
Photography, to me, is not about perfection. It’s about presence.
Whether I’m hiking alpine trails, wandering Aegean homes, or watching light fall on someone’s shoulders, I’m after honesty more than beauty.
Life unfolds quietly through people, fleeting moments, and feelings we carry with us.
Sometimes it’s a shared glance across a table.
Other times, a narrow street washed in late afternoon light.
Photography helps me hold on to the kinds of moments we often pass by. It reminds me that the extraordinary lives inside the ordinary and that presence is a gift worth preserving. This is the lens through which I see the world, and what I bring into every story I photograph.

Where are you based? Do you travel?
I’m based in Greece, but I photograph wherever there’s a story worth telling. Travel is part of how I see.
Do you take on commercial projects?
Yes, selectively. My main focus is travel and human stories, but I collaborate with brands whose aesthetic and values align with mine.
Do you shoot weddings or baptisms?
Occasionally, when the story feels right. I approach such moments with a documentary and atmospheric eye — no poses, just presence.
Can we work together if we’re in different countries?
Absolutely. Most of my work happens in transit. Whether you’re in the mountains or on an island, I can usually meet you halfway — literally or creatively.
Do you shoot film & digital?
Yes. I use both, but I have a soft spot for film.
There's something in the grain, the imperfection, the way it slows everything down.
Sometimes, when the light feels right or the moment calls for it, I reach for my analog camera.
You won’t need to choose — I decide instinctively during the shoot.
If you love film as much as I do, we can always include extra rolls or Polaroids.
You’ll only cover the cost of film and developing. No markups. Just the magic it brings.
